Bamff Ecotourism is a 2,000-acre rewilding estate where guests can watch beavers swimming and foraging from a pond less than 5 minutes walk from the accommodation. The estate offers guided beaver walks led by owner Paul, who shares the history of rewilding and reveals beaver sightings in the twilight. During walks, guests spot Exmoor ponies, wild pigs, peacocks, deer, and ospreys, along with the beavers.
Accommodations
The property includes 7 distinct holiday homes and huts: the Rewilding hut (a shepherd's hut), the Birder's Bothy, the Gate Lodge cottage (pet-friendly with enclosed garden), Easter Cottage, the Brewhouse, a ground-floor apartment, and a glamping cabin. Each unit is housed in a historic building and features a wood-burning stove, comfortable bedding, and a private or shared outdoor space.
